Gila Hot Springs is an Unincorporated area#United States, unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Grant County, New Mexico, Grant County, New Mexico, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 United States census, 2020 census. The community is on the northern edge of Grant County, in the valley of the West Fork of the Gila River. It is bordered to the north by Catron County, New Mexico, Catron County. New Mexico State Road 15 passes through the community, leading northwest to its terminus at Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument and south to Silver City, New Mexico, Silver City, the Grant county seat.

According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Gila Hot Springs has a cold semi-arid climate, abbreviated "BSk" on climate maps. The hottest temperature recorded in Gila Hot Springs was on June 24–25, 1990 and June 14, 2021, while the coldest temperature recorded was on January 5, 1971.
