Francis Peter Keane (13 January 1863 – 15 May 1940) was an Australian politician.
He was born in
Ballarat East to labourer Michael Keane and Catherine Meehan. He left school at the age of twelve to work as a cooper. From 1883 he was a member of the Coopers' Union; he found difficulty with employment due to his union involvement. In 1889 he married Alice Feezee Williams, with whom he had four children.
