. More recently, Foley Field has hosted four NCAA regional tournaments in 2001, 2004, 2006, 2008, and in 2018. In all four years, the Bulldogs' baseball team advanced to the College World Series. Super Regionals were also hosted in 2001 featuring Florida State University, in 2006 against the University of South Carolina, and in 2008 with North Carolina State University as the guest. All three super regionals were won by Georgia, two games to one. The Bulldogs own a record of 20–7 in NCAA post season games held at Foley Field.
