. After playing the 1999 World Cup she signed for 1.FFC Niederkirchen in the Germany, German Bundesliga (women), Bundesliga, where she spent two seasons. Returning to Nigeria, she played for Police FC of Lagos, Police Machine and Bayelsa Queen until 2008 when she moved to Tianjin Teda (women), Tianjin Teda in the China, Chinese Chinese Women's Super League, Super League. In 2010, she returned to the European leagues one decade later, playing successively for ZNK Krka, Krka Novo Mesto in Slovenian Women's League, Slovenia, Pogoń Szczecin (women), Pogoń Szczecin in Ekstraliga Kobiet, Poland and Dínamo Guadalajara in the Spanish second tier.


International

As a member of the Nigeria women's national football team, Nigerian national team Ajayi won five African Women's Championship, African Championships in a row between 1998 and 2006, and took part in the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup, 1999 and 2003 FIFA Women's World Cup, 2003 FIFA Women's World Cup, World Cups and the Football at the 2000 Summer Olympics#Women, 2000 and Football at the 2008 Summer Olympics – Women's tournament, 2008 Summer Olympics.
