She was taken over by the Finns after the Finnish Civil War in 1918 and returned to Soviet Russia in 1922 in accordance to the Tartu peace treaty of 1920. The S6 was not of the same class as the other S-boats, but of the smaller Modified ''Ussuri'' class.
