A railway runs by the village as well. This location, making the area of the village a convenient site for any facility intended to serve all of Nizhny Novgorod's Upper City as well as neighboring

In the early 1980s, the construction of Gorky Nuclear District Heating Plant (, ''GAST'') was started. Unlike a conventional
