Farletuzumab uses the following mechanisms of action: * Antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity * Complement-dependent cytotoxicity * Inhibition of interaction between FRα and Lyn kinase * Induces cell death associated with autophagy


Adverse effects

Common adverse effects include hypersensitivity reactions, fever, chills, headache, fatigue, and diarrhea.
