During his outdoor season, Fabian also won the European Team Championships-1st League which was held in Dublin, Ireland. In 2014 the Dutch Athletics Federation withdrew funding for triple jump athletes and Florant was forced to re-enter the corporate world by taking a job as a portfolio manager at a bank in Florida in the United States, where he was also training.
