Artist Evolution
Following his father Luis Alfredo Lynch Solo de Zaldívar, during his diplomatic posting to France, Enrique took his first year of art training at the French artist Diogène Maillart studio in Paris. In 1884 he returned to Chile, and obtained his bachelor's of Fines Arts at the University of Chile with Cosme San Martín. * In 1886, he obtained a grant from the Chilean Ministry of Education and returned to France to study at the Academy of Arts of Henri Gervex-Humbert, Académie de La Palette and at the ''"École des Beaux-Arts"'' in Paris. * In 1890, he exhibited in the Paris Salon * In 1891, he returned to Chile, becoming DirectorDossier: E.
