Caterino revised the genus ''Eurhoptus'', resurrecting the species ''E. curtus'' and adding five new species, ''E. aenigmaticus'', ''E. cariniventris'', ''E. imbricatus'', ''E. occidentalis'', and ''E. rileyi''.
