__NOTOC__ Eugen-Heinrich Bleyer (20 November 1896 – 18 March 1979) was a German general during World War II and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. Bleyer surrendered to the Yugoslavian troops in May 1945. In 1949 he was sentenced to death, but his sentence was changed to 18 years imprisonment and he was released in 1952.
