Fujino was awarded a TKO victory at the end of the second round, as Ajala had to withdraw with a wrist injury. Fujino faced Hyun Ji Jang for the Pancrase Women's Strawweight Championship at Pancrase 311 on December 11, 2019. She won the fight with a third-round rear-naked choke submission.
