Badger played in one game his first year at Arizona State in 2020 and was redshirted. As a redshirt freshman in 2021, he played in 11 games and had seven receptions for 61 yards. As a redshirt sophomore in 2022, Badger became the number one receiver. He finished the year with 70 receptions for 864 yards and seven touchdowns.
