As of December 2019, it is in phase III trials for breast cancer. However, in December 2019 Radius Health announced plans to divest of oncology assets (including elacestrant). Sep 24, 2020, Radius Health & Menarini Group Provide Elacestrant Update. October 20, 2021, Menarini Group and Radius Health announce positive phase 3 topline results from the EMERALD trial evaluating elacestrant in breast cancer.
