Heinrich Eduard Ausfeld (27 May 1850, Schnepfenthal bei Gotha – 4 April 1906, Magdeburg) was a German archivist and historian. Following studies at several German universities, he obtained his doctorate in 1880 at the University of Marburg. Subsequently he worked at the ''Staatsarchiv'' (state archives) in
