History

Before the stop opened, there was much controversy surrounding the development of the Metrolink line, with many Droylsden residents complaining about the disruption to traffic and local businesses. It is mainly due to these concerns that a three-day free trial service was run for local residents. Droylsden Metrolink stop was the terminus of the East Manchester Line until 9 October 2013, when services were extended eastwards to Ashton-under-Lyne Metrolink station.

Services

Services are mostly every 12 minutes on all routes.
