After the race Frederic Rossi, who was recording the biggest win in a 30-year training career, commented "I knew that 1600 metres is really the end of her rope and in my opinion she is a real champion over 1400 metres. She has that ability to accelerate very quickly and it is a delicate balancing act with her over 1600 metres" before going on to state that the filly would probably skip the
