Life and career

Dieter Birr was trained as a grinder and at the same time taught himself how to play the guitar. From 1966 to 1972 he studied dance music, music theory and guitar at Musikschule Friedrichshain in

. Until 1969 he was a member of the bands Telestars, Luniks (including
