There were 2,154 housing units at an average density of . The racial makeup of the unorganized territory was 98.05% White, 0.91% Native American, 0.27% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.12% from other races, and 0.61% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.49%. Of the 1,304 households 28.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 69.2% were married couples living together, 3.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.8% were non-families. 20.3% of households were one person and 7.7% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.51 and the average family size was 2.87. The age distribution was 23.3% under the age of 18, 6.9% from 18 to 24, 23.9% from 25 to 44, 32.1% from 45 to 64, and 13.8% 65 or older. The median age was 43 years. For every 100 females, there were 105.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 108.1 males. The median household income was $47,115 and the median family income was $53,520. Males had a median income of $38,393 versus $26,298 for females. The per capita income for the unorganized territory was $19,556. About 4.3% of families and 8.5% of the population were below the poverty line, including 9.1% of those under age 18 and 16.1% of those age 65 or over.
