In the late 90s he had the opportunity to work for famed television composer Mike Post as a studio keyboard player where he was introduced to the world of music supervision. In 2000, David had his first major breakout as a TV composer on Mark Burnett’s first season of Survivor. As one of the first composers in this new genre, David was able to craft a style of music which today is commonly used for unscripted television programming.
