David Lindo is a British birdwatcher and author. Also known as the Urban Birder, he is a regular contributor to Bird Watching magazine and has written a number of books including ''The Urban Birder'', published in 2011 and ''How to be an Urban Birder'', published in 2014. More recent publications include a book for children, ''The Extraordinary World of Birds'', published in 2022. He is a vice-president of the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust.
