In 2010 Ancrum was inducted in Utica's hall of fame.

In the EuroLeague's 1992–1993 season, Ancrum appeared in 11 games with Maccabi Tel Aviv, and averaged 16.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game. He was the top scorer in the 1994 Israel Basketball Premier League.
