(1921–22 season). He compiled a career record of 46–32 in six seasons as a head basketball coach. He was also the head track coach at Indiana. He resigned from his position at Indiana in August 1919 to accept a position as the head of the department of physical education at Northwestern. Evans suffered a nervous breakdown in September 1924 and died of a heart attack in November 1924.
