He played for Canada at both Under-18 tournaments, including the 2007 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka (fourth-place finish) and the 2008 World Under-18 Championships (gold medal). Teubert played for Canada at the World Junior Championships in 2009 and 2010. In 2009, he helped Canada win a gold medal, while in 2010 the team took home silver. Teubert served as one of the team's alternate captains during the 2010 tournament.
