In 2013, Cesar moved to Athens, Georgia Georgia (U.S. state), Georgia where he trains at The University of Georgia with the coach Dan Laak. Since 2013, Cesar is also a volunteer diving coach of University of Georgia. César earned his college degree in Physical Education from Universidade Católica de Brasília in 2005 and received his MBA degree in Marketing and Sports Business from Fundação Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2013. Since 2003, Cesar Castro is sponsored by Mackenzie Presbyterian University. Castro is married and has two children, Samuel and Victor.
