Limo had her first successful locally at the 2009 Baringo 15K, where she placed third. The following year she ran at the

, but was far down the field, finishing 46th. It was on the roads of France that she began to establish herself as a high calibre runner. She had top three finishes at the 2010 Nancy Half Marathon and
