Gauthier competed at the 2022 BioSteel All-American Game. In his Freshman season at Boston College, Gauthier shined as the Eagles' leading point and goal scorer, with 16 goals and 21 assists for 37 points. He earned All-Rookie team and Third-Team All-Star honors in
