''Crataerina'' is a genus of louse
flies in the
family Hippoboscidae. All are
parasites of
birds, feeding on the
blood of various species of
Apodidae (swifts) and
Hirundinidae (swallows and martins). The genus is sometimes spelled ''Craterina''.
