Description


Distribution

This extinct species was distributed in the Mediterranean Sea, dating from the Miocene. It was also found in strata from the Late Pliocene in Malaga (Spain).Vera-Pelaez, Martinelli, Lozano-Francisco: Turridae (Gastropoda, Prosobranchia) of the Lower Pliocene from Malaga; Iberus : revista de la Sociedad Española de Malacología v.16-17 (1998-1999)
