History

Classic 263 was originally launched to serve the white community in urban and farming areas of Zimbabwe. It is now based in the capital, Harare, having previously been based in Bulawayo. The station changed its name from Radio 1 to Spot FM or SFM in 2001. It broadcasts mainly talk shows on politics, current affairs, and sports, as well as a variety of music targeted at the mature audience of urban Zimbabwe. The station's current slogan is "Now we are talking."
