park of Kyiv, Ukraine. This former Russian Orthodox church was designed in 1809 by the Moscow-born architect Andrey Melensky and was underwritten by Samuil Meshcheryakov, a merchant from Voronezh. The general contractor for the project was Vasiliy Serikov.
