Christina Aguilera With The LA Phil

American singer Christina Aguilera has performed on six concert tours, one promotional tour and two concert residencies. Additionally, she has performed at 15 music festivals, and seven benefit concerts. Her touring career began with Christina Aguilera in Concert. It was originally held in North America in 2000, promoting her debut album, ''Christina Aguilera'' (1999). Following the release of ''Mi Reflejo'' in September 2000, the tour was extended into 2001, with shows in Latin America and Asia. The tour was received favorably by critics, commenting on Aguilera's showmanship, and specifically applauding her vocals, which received comparisons to Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston.

Aguilera's touring act for her fourth studio album ''Stripped'' (2002) was performed across two tours throughout 2003. The ''Stripped'' act was first toured in Aguilera's first co-headlining tour, The Justified & Stripped Tour with Justin Timberlake, throughout North America, becoming the year's 16th highest-grossing tour. The tour continued without Timberlake's act in September 2003. Billed as The Stripped Tour, it toured Aguilera's act for another 37 dates in Europe, Japan and Australia until December 17, 2003. Aguilera's act was compared to Cher's image in the 1980s by several critics. The success of the tour led to Aguilera deciding to schedule additional shows in North America in the summer of 2004. The set was revamped, with a new theme and set list, and was scheduled to begin in May, continuing until early July for a total of 29 dates. Aguilera suffered a vocal cord injury in April 2004, leading to all 29 dates being cancelled.

In 2006, she embarked on her biggest tour, in support of her fifth studio album ''Back to Basics'' (2006), released earlier that year. The Back to Basics Tour began in November 2006 and continuing through mid 2007. With 61 dates throughout 2007, it was the highest grossing female artist tour of the year and second highest-grossing overall, with a revenue of $48.1 million in that year. The tour went on a hiatus for over a year while Aguilera was pregnant and gave birth to her son in January 2008. Three additional dates were scheduled in October 2008. The tour was a critical and commercial success, receiving acclaim by contemporary critics, who complimented the tour's visuals, choreography, and Aguilera's on-stage attitude. and with a total gross of over $90 million from 82 dates throughout Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. Following the conclusion of the Back to Basics Tour, Aguilera stopped touring for ten years, revealing that she was concerned to tour with her children.

June 2010's ''Bionic'' (2010) was set to be promoted on The Bionic Tour. Scheduled to begin on July 15 of that year, it consisted of 20 announced dates in North America. However, on May 25, 2010, two weeks after the tour's announcement, a statement was released, revealing that the tour would be postponed to unknown dates in 2011. The statement cited Aguilera's tight schedule for the album's promotion, as well as her first feature film, ''Burlesque'' (2010), which would be released in November of that year, as the reason, saying that she needed longer to rehearse the show. The tour was never rescheduled.

After not touring for two albums, Aguilera announced her comeback tour shortly after the announcement of ''Liberation'' (2018). Similarly to ''Stripped'', ''Liberation'' was promoted through two tours. The Liberation Tour started in September 2018 and concluded in December of the same year. It visited cities throughout North America and grossed $8.7 million from 21 shows. The Liberation Tour was named one of the best live shows by ''Billboard'', and its gross ranked #132 out of ''Pollstar'''s Top 200 North American Tours year-end chart.'''' 2019's The X Tour was a surprise announcement and served as a European and Latin American continuation of The Liberation Tour, but with a different set. It began in July 2019 in Europe, and concluded with three shows in Mexico in early December of that year. It was commercially successful, with a total gross of over $5.4 million from nine reported shows. Aguilera was set to tour North America in summer of 2020, with Adam Lambert as a supporting act, but before any announcements were made, the tour was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to ''Billboard'', Aguilera's career gross is $81.7 million with an attendance of 1.5 million as of July 2019. ''Pollstar'' reports that Aguilera's total career gross as of November 2022 is $115,349,316 with an average gross of $613,000 and 9,855 tickets per concert.

Aside from concert tours, Aguilera has also headlined two concert residencies, a promotional tour and several headlined events. Her first concert residency, officially named Christina Aguilera: The Xperience, was held at the Zappos Theater in Las Vegas. The Xperience opened on May 31, 2019, and was performed interchangeably with The X Tour throughout 2019. Themed around outer space and retrofuturism, as well as the 1970s disco era and Cirque du Soleil, the show was a five-sensory experience, each act of the show featured its own sound, visuals, scents that were pumped throughout the venue, things that the audience could touch, as well as orders regarding drinks, such as the "Xtini" (a portmanteau of her nickname, Xtina and martini). Christina Aguilera: The Xperience was a critical and commercial success, grossing $10.2 million from its first four legs, and receiving acclaim.

Aguilera was set to follow her summer 2020 tour with the fifth leg of The Xperience in November 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the shows were initially put on hold before being cancelled two months prior to the return of the show. Christina Aguilera with the LA Phil was Aguilera's first set of shows since the cancellation of The Xperience. The set was held for two nights on July 16 and 17, 2021. Aguilera reimagined her discography, and a few covers, with the help of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The shows were massive successes, selling out the Hollywood Bowl for both nights, and receiving widespread acclaim from critics. '' Aguilera'' received the EU/UK Summer Series promotional tour throughout summer 2022 in lieu of a concert tour. Of the tour's eight shows, five were part of Aguilera's headlining set in different festivals, with the other three taking place at The O2 Arena, Union J serving as the opening act for the shows. Several of the shows were sold out.
