On 6 June 1894, Addis was married to Elizabeth Jane "Eba" McIsaac at Ardossan, Ayrshire. Elizabeth was a daughter of James McIsaac and Elizabeth ( Watson) McIsaac. They lived at Woodside, Frant, Sussex.
