The list received 35.97% of the votes in the second round behind the list led by the PS François Bonneau, sending five elected officials to the Regional Council, including Charles-Éric Lemaignen. In 2008, he was re-elected Deputy Mayor and President of the Orléans Val de Loire Metropolitan Area following the March 2008 municipal elections.
