Hispanic or Latino of any race were 11.70% (864) of the population. Of the 2,995 households, 24.2% had children under the age of 18; 42.7% were married couples living together; 13.6% had a female householder with no husband present and 38.4% were non-families. Of all households, 32.6% were made up of individuals and 14.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.35 and the average family size was 2.97. 20.3% of the population were under the age of 18, 7.5% from 18 to 24, 25.0% from 25 to 44, 28.5% from 45 to 64, and 18.7% who were 65 years of age or older.
