Bărbăteni Coal Mine is an
underground mining exploitation, one of the largest in
Romania located in
Lupeni, one of six cities in the
Jiu Valley region of
Hunedoara County.
The legal entity managing the Bărbăteni mine is the
National Hard Coal Company
