On New Year's Eve of 2001/2002, Vic Chesnutt joined Widespread Panic for the entire first set of the show, playing Chesnutt songs that Widespread Panic covers, songs from ''Nine High a Pallet'' and debuting songs from the upcoming ''Co-Balt''. On April 25, 2007, the third night of a three-night Widespread Panic run in Athens, Vic joined the band onstage to play the Brute song "Protein Drink/Sewing Machine".
