Maggart has been married once (1955–1971); with his wife, LuJan, he had five children, Jennifer, Spencer, Justine, Julienne, and Garett. He has two daughters, Amber and Fiona, with singer Diane McAfee. Spencer Maggart (also known as Brandon, Jr.) is a writer/director, and
Garett Maggart is a TV and movie actor, at times working with Brandon on some projects. Amber is better known in show business as cabaret singer
