History

On Tuesday April 17, a day after the Virginia Tech Massacre a Bogalusa man passed a note to a Bogalusa student making threatening remarks about a mass killing similar to the incident at Virginia Tech.

JROTC

Bogalusa High school is also home to the JROTC "Lumberjack Battalion." The school currently holds the "Honor Unit with Distinction" award. The school colors are the colors of the senior ropes, and they are an Army JROTC organization. They also have 4 different afterschool teams: Drill Team, Rifle Team, Color Guard, and Saber Team.
