As more, successively better preserved fossils were found, Denison later revised his findings and placed ''Protaspis priscillae'' into ''Pteraspis'' in 1970. In 1984, Alain Blieck further revised ''P. priscillae'''s classification, and placed it tentatively into ''Errivaspis''.
