It was the first time that a minor party's presidential ticket appeared on the ballot in all 50 states and DC in successive presidential elections. Since his involvement in national ballot access efforts, the Libertarian Party has had a presidential ticket on the ballot in all 50 states and DC in five of the last eight presidential elections.
