History

The moshav was founded in 1933 by a group of veteran farmers. It was established as part of the
Settlement of the Thousand The Settlement of the Thousand ( he, התיישבות האלף, ''Hityashvut HaElef'') refers to two separate Zionist plans to settle Jewish families on farms in Mandate Palestine.
