Bangor Central is one of the seven district electoral areas (DEA) in

, Northern Ireland. The district elects six members to Ards and North Down Borough Council and contains the wards of Ballygrainey, Ballyholme, Bloomfield, Broadway, Castle and Harbour.
ARK, accessed 8 July 2023 Bangor Central forms greater of the North Down constituencies for the North Down (Assembly constituency), Northern Ireland Assembly and UK Parliament. It was created for the 2014 local elections, largely replacing the Abbey DEA, which had existed since 1985.
