Early career

Koné played on youth side for CFTPK Abidjan and joined in 2004 to Etoile Filante where he began his professional career in 2005.


Guingamp

In July 2006 Koné signed for En Avant de Guingamp. He played his first game for Guingamp on 11 May 2007 against
