History

BR•F grew out of the Swedish TV production company Spader Knekt - later called St Paul - which was founded in 1995 by Fredrik Heinig and two partners. In 1999, Pelle Nilsson, Anders Wahlquist and Petter Westlund founded the digital production company B-Reel and Fredrik Heinig and Johannes Åhlund (who then was a partner in St Paul) became partners in the company. In 2009, they all started a new film production and became B-Reel Films. Today, B-Reel and B-Reel Films are two separate groups with two different ownership constellations.
