Benjamin Phillips Jr. known professionally as Autumn (stylized as Autumn!), is an American rapper and record producer. He initially started as a producer under the name TrapGodBenji. Career

Career Beginnings (2017-2019)

After beginning his career in music primarily as a producer, Autumn! would begin to rap after being pushed to do so by new frequent collaborator Summrs, whom he would continue to frequently collaborate with as both a producer and rapper. He released his debut project in 2017, which was an EP entitled ''Happy Birthday''. He and Summrs would also release a collaborative EP entitled ''2 Seasons'' in July 2017. He released two more projects throughout 2017, a self-titled EP also released in July, and a sequel to ''2 Seasons'' in October with Summrs called ''2 Seasons II''.

In 2018, Autumn! released the following extended plays: ''#Dont Forget Me #ImStillHere'', ''BuggaWrld'',''L.S.D'', ''##RETRIBUTION'',''##R2 ## R2'', ''##B4R3 ##B4R3'', ''##R3 ##R3'', and ''Opiates!''. He also gained further attention in the underground for his and Summrs collaborative single "Can't Take It". He would also contribute production for other artists' music like Summrs.

In 2019, he would officially join the music collective SLAYWORLD, which contained other notable underground acts like Kankan, Goonie, and Summrs and was affiliated with artists like Weiland, Yeat and SeptembersRich, who were closely associated with the group despite not being official members of the group. In 2019, he released the extended projects ''Modern Day Michelangelo'', ''YlfrettuB'', ''##B4R4 ##B4R4'', ''Wick & Clancy: 2S3 Vol. 1'' (a collaboration with Summrs), ''Wya!'', and ''5303''. He also released the mixtape ''4'' and collaborated with other artists like Kankan, Summrs, and Texako.

Further rise to prominence, ''Ils Verront'' (2020-2021)

In 2020, Autumn! would release his official debut album ''Ils Verront'', released on 1 September 2020. The album contained 13 tracks and a guest appearance from rapper Lil Playah. In addition to this album, he also released the extended plays ''#hollywood'', ''Ep TwinSwiper Autumn!'' (in collaboration with SeptembersRich), and ''Solitary''.

In 2021, he signed to Steven Victor's record label Victor Victor and began teasing his debut studio album ''Antagonist!''. He would go on to releas multiple extended plays to create buzz for the project, such as ''Simp Music'', ''Exactly'', ''Golden Child, Chapter 1'', and ''Not Much Left''. He also released multiple singles that would eventually wind up on ''Antagonist!'', most notably the self-produced single "One Way", which went viral through social media. Since then, Autumn would continue to work with artists like Yeat, K Suave, and Summrs as a producer and a rapper.

''Antagonist'', ''Golden Child 2'', and ''Golden Child 3'' (2022-present)

Autumn released his debut studio album ''Antagonist!'' on April 29, 2022. Following the release of this album, he would largely take a hiatus from making music, during which he said that he rediscovered his love for making music. He returned to releasing music with the EP ''##B4GC2 ##B4GC2'', released on July 28, 2022, which would then lead up to the release of ''Golden Child, Chapter 2'' on August 26, 2022.

In November 2022, Autumn! would start promoting his next album, ''Golden Child, Chapter 3'', in which he previewed some songs during an Instagram livestream. Autumn spoke about the project, saying that the album would feature his older style and newer style of music. To help further promote the album, Autumn would release two EP's in the span of January and February 2023. Those being ''##B4GC3 ##B4GC3'' on January 20, 2023, and ''Simp Music 2'' on February 14, 2023.
