Railway bridge
The cost of the bridge was $123 million. It was developed by the Ukrainian Institute Dneprogiprotrans. The general contractor of the corporation were the bridge builders Ukrtransstroi, who together with the Turkmen builders division of the Ministry of Railway, built this structure. September 17, 2009 the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved an agreement between the State Concern Turkmenavtoyollary with the Ukrainian company Altcom, which was the general contractor. The first railway bridge was built from wood in the late 1880s.
