, India. Established in 1949, it is situated in Changanasserry 17 km from Kottayam. It is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University. The college had been accredited A+ by NAAC in its fourth cycle. The college is considered to be one of the top colleges in Kerala providing various alumni especially in sports and games. The college is named after the proclamation of Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary. The college is a catholic minority institution under the Syro Malabar Archdiocese of Changanasserry. UGC granted autonomy to this college in 2016. The college is one among the 100 colleges in NIRF 2017. It has been also in top 100 private autonomous colleges in Education World India, 29th in national level, 11th in state.
