Armagh is one of the seven district electoral areas (DEA) in
Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Ulster Scots: ''Airmagh, Bannbrig an Craigavon'' , settlement_type = District , subdivision_type = Sovereign state , subdivision_type1 = Constituent country , subdivision_type2 = , subdivision_type3 = , ...
, Northern Ireland. The district elects six members to Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council and contains the wards of Blackwatertown, Cathedral, Demesne, Keady, Navan and The Mall.
ARK, accessed 8 July 2023 Armagh forms part of the Newry and Armagh constituencies for the Newry and Armagh (Assembly constituency), Northern Ireland Assembly and UK Parliament. It was created for the 1985 local elections, where it was called Armagh City until 2014. It replaced Armagh Area D which had existed since 1973, and originally contained five wards (Abbey Park, Callan Bridge, Demesne, Downs, Observatory and The Mall). For the 2014 local elections it gained most of the abolished Crossmore DEA.
