She was a long-term radio presenter of the Counselling Programme on LBC in London and the first agony aunt for the first national cable television station in the UK (Wire TV). Currently she is consultant to Amora – the Academy of Sex and Relationships. She has been a trustee for the Post Abortion Counselling Service (PACS) a regional committee member of the Family Planning Association and is presently assisting Ataxia UK.


Film work

Hooper is the founder of the Tetbury Film Society and now works with the British Federation of Film Societies – South West to further film viewing in remote regions of South West England.
